People Working In These Jobs Are Most Likely To Cheat On Their Partner

10 Professions Reportedly Linked to Higher Rates of Cheating — And the No. 1 Job May Surprise You

A survey conducted by Victoria Milan, a dating site for people seeking affairs, asked 5,658 women about workplace infidelity. According to the report, 65% admitted to having affairs connected to their workplace, while 85% said they would not recommend mixing business with pleasure.

So, which professions ranked highest? Financial workers, including bankers, brokers, and analysts, came in first. Aviation professionals, such as pilots and flight attendants, ranked second, followed by healthcare workers. Business executives and managers, athletes, and people in entertainment also appeared on the list.

The remaining professions included nightlife workers, journalists and public relations professionals, and people working in the legal field. Respondents cited excitement and the opportunity to form connections as reasons workplace affairs happen, while many worried about awkwardness, rumors, and the possibility of being discovered.

The reported top 10 were finance, aviation, healthcare, business, sports, arts and entertainment, nightlife, communications, legal work, and other sectors. However, these results came from a survey of a specific dating-site audience and should not be taken as proof that people in these professions are more likely to cheat overall.
